TEYE ADR 3000 mounting examples

If the mounting instructions are not properly followed, it is possible to install the TEYE ADR3000 Video Driving Recorder incorrectly, it will still operate but the driver will not see the LCD display with vehicle speed, recorder status etc.  Ensure the LCD display faces inside the vehicle and that the camera lens is to the right of the unit.

ABOVE: The TEYE ADR3000 pictured above is incorrectly mounted. The LCD display should be facing into the vehicle, the unit needs to be turned around. An easy way to spot this setup problem is the location of the camera lens. The lens should always be on the right hand side, not the left of the recorder.

Drive Recorder T-Eye ADR3000 technical specifications

A text file on the SDCARD will report your TEYE firmware version number.  To upgrade to the latest firmware, please apply this archive to your SDCARD.  Over write all files.  Reconfiguration to your preferences may be required. Power should not be interrupted during the next start up procedure of the TEYE Driving Recorder.
